Farzi Season 1 : Poor artist Sunny (Shahid Kapoor) works with his best friend Firoz (Bhuvan Arora) to help run his grandfather Madhav’s (Amol Palekar) idealistic printing press. Trouble arises when their business is at the risk of bankruptcy. Sunny and Firoz decide to print fake 500-rupee notes after becoming disillusioned. Initially unsuccessful, their second attempt pays off. Mansoor Dalal, the leader of the counterfeiting industry, is apprehended in Nepal by a determined officer named Michael. However Mansoor escapes. Later, Sunny and Firoz are abducted by Mansoor.
Sunny and Firoz almost get caught, but Michael manages to see their faces. Sunny and Firoz scatter the counterfeit money throughout the streets as they flee from the police during a pursuit. Mansoor is upset by this and orders their execution, but Sunny uses the assistance of his friends to flee. Madhav seems to die after mansoor sets fireplace to his printing press. Sunny becomes livid and is going on the assault, killing lots of mansoor’s guys and torching the money at the same time as threatening to return for extra. In the meantime, michael and rekha get divorced. Sunny’s identification is set to be found out by using megha.
